FLAT ROOFING work

Posted by Phil Hunnisett, on
Ive had 3 companies est's now to insulate and recover my flat roof (2 were EPDM, 1 was fibre glass) - All have been around 15-18k pounds (for 75m sq). I can see on the net that for EPDM raw materials (matting, glues, trims, insulation board) come to around 4k. So where is the 12+ k going?

I charge for a epdm or grp warm roof not including any skylights £100 +vat per metre so more like 10k your either in an affluent area (so people are trying to take advantage )or there's more to the job than your letting on (rafters, detailing,so on ) we cover the Midlands hope this helps Scott
