Hi Nick, Lewis from manor roofing repairs- in my opinion, it's really to give a guide on the rough amount you would be willing to consider paying for the job. I've had a few cases where the customer has put a budget of £500 for an entire felted roof and of course this just isn't possible, with the cost of materials and labour included. Try to get at least a couple of quotes and you'll have an idea of how much the job is going to be and if it's to expensive you can always change and adapt the ideas you have. Hope this helps! Lewis
