Matt Belchamber did an absolutely brilliant job on our cliff top garden under the most arduous weather conditions in the Spring of 2014. In association with the garden designer he recommended to us (Bo Cook of Alitura) he transformed the garden from a modest patch of lawn and borders into a work of art. He started on time (when the winds were blowing at hurricane force) and completed the work on time, keeping us fully informed all the way. We cannot recommend Matt too highly.

So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. We are a Sussex based company. Friendly and reliable that strive for perfection with everything we do. We cover painting and decorating ( city & guilds) and with over 35 years experience. We also cover plastering,rendering and damp proofing. We can also cover small maintenance works.
The guys arrived promptly and did the job with no fuss using good old fashioned hard work. No messy stump grinder. They completed the work in less time than expected and instead of just leaving helped me move 2 tons of ballast! They left everything tidy and were extremely courteous. Would use again no hesitation!
It took a while for us to catch up with each other on the phone which meant lots of answer phone messages but once a meeting was arranged and we explained what we required Tom completed the job within two weeks to our satisfaction.

Excellent job: good advice and discussion in advance of starting work to get a clear picture of what I wanted, as well as updates while I was travelling and busy with my own work; they kept to their timetable and brief, and even came up with a supplementary suggestion (resurfacing my drive) which has set the whole garden improvements off to perfection. Plus, they dealt with difficult set-backs - some damage to the fencing - with remarkable aplomb and helpfulness. Highly recommended!
