They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. Multiple delays in finding time to visit. Eventual visit resulted in a quote that felt like he didn’t want the job, suggesting the chair should be replaced. Given it cost £800, not the best outcome

The decking is sagging and moves every time you walk on it which we have to do to get out of the garden. The step also rocks when walked upon. The wood was left cracked in areas and there are some miss cuts. The concrete was undertaken during torrential rain and has resulted in constant dusting being trailed onto the decking and subsequently into the house. The concrete ran down the length of the driveway and cannot be removed. Phoned to complain 3 weeks ago and heard nothing further.

Thermoseal team responded quickly to my initial request and when on site talked me through the options. We had a complete roof replacement, which was the best decision as further deterioration was found in the roof timbers which needed additional work. The team were able to adjust their plan to accommodate the additional repairs. The slates, woodwork and a valley were all replaced. They also tidied up the existing chimney stacks and redid the lead work. I would recommend them of any work.

Following initial problems with the work, the roofing guys returned to put right the shortfalls which closed the job satisfactorily. However I had to oversee the work completion myself via Google Translate due to no instructions and poor communications to the work team. I am very pleased to finally conclude the job, but still await receipt for full payment made. RG24
