He alone left brochures for my perusal, giving me the largest choice possible for both paving & fencing. He provided quotations as & when required, was punctual & extremely hard-working along with his colleague Tam. The work took 2 days longer than expected though the cost remained as estimated. I would never use theses fly guy again all week they were in my house to do small jobs they wasted time and always made excuses everyday and did not turn up in morning always late afternoon thats if they bothered to turn up at all and to top it all of they tried to rip me of and charge me £850 for materials for my loft which only cost £298 they also wanted £700 for doing the job which was only flooring a loft the lies they told was disgusting Am going to take this further they should not be trading

Agreed job not completed. Over 75% of agreed fee paid and now left having to find a new joiner for a final small-ish but important job that people won't be keen to complete without other work. I explained the importance of this when the full job was agreed. I have contacted multiple times with no help, even after explaining this situation and the importance of having this full job complete. Over paid for the work that was done . Cannot recommend this service at all. Very disappointing and unprofessional.

AVOID!.... John Lindsay is not a genuine trader. He took a deposit from me and then strung me along without giving me a start date for the work. When I eventually cancelled the job, he refused to refund the deposit. His company website is a false front. His company cannot be contacted via the website, his social media links at the top right and bottom left of the page link to Sky News. Macklin Glazing is also not registered with companies house.
He Came out to my home, checked the wiring in bathroom and other fittings, provided me with a quote and never returned to finish job, tried to phone him and left text messages, he did not reply? Used the other electrician on rated people.
