George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. They arrived on time and did a good job overall. However, I was disappointed that the final charge was higher than the agreed fixed price, despite all the job details being provided upfront. The contractor was also invited to view the site before quoting, so the unexpected increase felt unfair

Nice gentleman. However, did not execute as described. Insisted that removing the rubbish stopped at dumping it into my bins. The other rubbish as shown in the picture was left for me to deal. I did not have much energy to argue with him as I felt he was tired.

The quote was provided quickly and the work carried out on the arranged day. After giving time for the floor to harden I found it was very uneven and sloped in two directions. I have had to correct it by applying a floor screed. Also some rubbish was left in the rear access passage behind the houses. It was agreed that it would pick it up but it wasn’t so I had to remove it so it didn’t obstruct the alley way for my neighbours.

Dreamscape Construction Ltd and Dj groundworks appear to bo the same company as Dj groundworks ARRANGED to visit but Dreamscape turned up instead. I was told an estimate would be emailed to me but none ever arrived.
