Dave was also asked to put on some white satin - an even finish and no paint drips. Listened to my concerns and went extra mile to buy a suitable lock, prsented receipt. Davall Construction left my home unsafe,with the interior wall collapsing and a big hole in my wall,just because I complained I was unhappy with their poor standard,unsafe work.I raised concerns about the shoddy brick laying (Laying brick and mortar to plasterboard),not replacing wall/floor vent (causes damp),cutting brand new door frame (Instead of wall bricks),not using wall or ceiling supports (acrow props) and they just removed everything and left a hole in the wall.

James did a really good job for the house we’d just bought. The floors were all painted and really ugly, and he sanded them back to the wood and left them looking really nice. He even returned free of charge to fix a problem of “grain raising” which had left the boards a bit rough to the touch and occurred a few days after he’d finished, due to moisture in the space. He was friendly, considerate and empathic, a really pleasant guy to have around and to be involved in our renovation project.
