This guy disappears on you - goes completely off-line for months. He removed parts from a functioning shower mixer with the promise to return with a new cartridge, and has disappeared. We now need to replace the cartridge at an additional cost of +£200. Over a month with no response to calls, messages. Maybe this might prompt as reply - but I doubt it.

Dave did a teriffic job clearing up my very overgrown garden and accomplished in just a few hours a job I had been ignoring for months. He was very prompt to reply to my posting and appeared in the garden just a couple of days later. He did such a good job he's coming back to build us a bike shed and sort out the flowerbeds. Jay installed the boiler for me in October 2024 failed to issue documentation. However, he went on to register it in May 2025 as installed in March 2022. The boiler has since being screaming after installation. Jay came and see the boiler but couldn’t fix the problem demanded more money. There has been limescale piled up on the pipe he ignored it. The other engineer who attended after him found a metal part left inside the boiler. I would not recommend his service.

He was very good at the job and finished on time etc. The one thing I found slightly annoying was the urgency to finish the job and get the money, ie insisting that he paints the fence even though it was forecast to almost certainly rain that day and receiving multiple calls from his wife etc to our pressure. Overall though I am pleased with the end result and will use him again if given a chance
