Hi. My name is Dan, I'm your local friendly construction, maintenance and repairing guy, I'm 40 years old and living / traveling in and around London with 20 years experience , I studied brick laying, carpentry and plumbing at Colchester Institute as well as some time doing Art and Design. I directly went into working for new build construction sites in Essex, snagging and fixing all manner of things the main contractors hadnt finished in time. For many years after, my work was on the London Underground Metro, mostly as a Health and Safety officer, but also I have been involved with many installation and maintenance works on the railways. For the last six years I've been in Brazil where I am a joint owner of a construction company. I have just recently returned home. So all in all within the last 20 years I've been immersed in all manner of construction environments. I'm also accustomed to working shifts, days, nights and weekends so if out of ordinary hours suit you better, then providing there is adequate light and space to work in a safe environment I can be flexible on the working hours. I enjoy getting creative in my free time and working with my skills to make the home and workplace more practical, bright, spacious and have a pleasant feel to be in and around. I also like being able to help with budget ideas when possible or if that's the preferred option. Most things can be repaired and with a few tweaks, good colour code, choice of materials, textures and adequate storage, any place can be radically transformed. Indoor and outdoor jobs, maintenance and repairing, decluttering , refurbishment and bespoke projects. So many things can be done. I have come to this website so I can be more free with my own time, be creative and get involved in any DIY and construction job. I can take on small to large projects depending on weather, location and time frame but just an hour here and there to fix small things usually fits no problem into my day to day routine. I am clean and tidy in the work that I do and will do it to the best of my abilities.
