Simon is very very good, he not only sorted our gutters, but realised that the company we used last had left a lot of moss and rubbish in the gutters and in the valleys on the roof. Simon replaced our broken tiles, repointed our ridge tiles, and did a treatment to stop the moss coming back. Every bit was cleaned he even did our patio. Would highly recommend. All work is under a written guarantee for seven years. Worth every penny.

Darrel worked with me on adjusting he quote in order to prioritise the things that needed the most attention. We were held up a few days by the weather initially, but once things were underway I was very happy with how things progressed. Quoted £800 for the job which he said would take 3 days with two people working. Completed work in less than one and half days. Only one person working throughout except for additional helper for two hours on the first day. Demanded £820 on ‘completion’ for amount quoted plus £20 for additional work. Very unsatisfactory work and a horrible job done.

Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.
