This was a large refurbishment job including structural work, quality carpentry, kitchen installation and final decoration and finishing. JSR Construction provided good advice, pragmatic solutions to problems as they arose, as they inevitably do on such jobs and did a great job overall. Thoroughly recommended.

We found Kurt to be reliable, hard working and really easy to deal with. He put us in touch with another contact too, and together they worked as a team to re-build and fit our kitchen exterior wall with new bi-fold doors. Kurt also helped prepare our chimney for a new wood burning stove - overall a great job and the work of a high quality. Highly recommended - thank you!

James is a pleasant young man whose standard of workmanship is very good. He understood the requirements of the job - transforming a very ugly toilet into an inviting one - he worked very hard to meet expectations - to which he succeeded. Ian and Peter were extremely adept at identifying the issues with the wiring of our kitchen, providing a quote with a fast turnaround. On the day of the fix, the two of them were professional, polite and personable, sorting the issue and explaining what the issue was and what steps had been taken to rectify the problem. Can't recommend them enough!

Had leak on a very rainy day and John was out the same day. He gave me a fair quote and was back the next day as promised and did a good job. Showing pictures of what the problem was and pictures of the finished work would recommend them.

I can’t rate Andy highly enough. matt did kitchen worktops for me. his work is to the highest standard, and i shall not hesitate in calling him again. as a local builder myself i shall recommend him to others. the job i asked him to do for me, was not straight forward, quite a few complications, but he overcame them all to do an excellent job.

He agreed a fixed price for fixing the toilet that evening which was half of what other plumbers have suggested and it did not matter how long it took fix the toilet. He arrived on time. It was comfortable to have him around the house with young children. There was a problem with the rubber seal as well as the original issue. He still stuck with his original charge agreed on Friday evening and only charged me extra for parts. He's very honest and I would not hesitate to call him again.

First time using Rated People and it was first class great online communications and follow up processes. Mike Baker was first rate from initial call back through to completion. Took time to talk through requirements, meet on site to survey and estimate the work, providing a clear cost and timescale. Daniel did an excellent job. There were a few issues with the base he was covering coming through the paint but this didn't cause Daniel a problem. If I'd been doing the decorating I would have been stuck, Daniel knew exactly which products were needed where and completed the job to a high standard.
