James did a good job building our patio, stairs (first photo on his page) and a small supporting wall in 2021. Unfortunately a number of the slabs on top of the wall and also some patio slabs subsequently became loose/completely detached. I contacted James in April 2023 and asked him to sort. Long story short 13 months later I’m still waiting after countless text messages and phone calls and promises to come and fix. Latterly he has stopped even responding to my texts and calls. Very disappointing!

Didn't turn up when they said they would. When they eventually arrived they did an awful job, left a huge scratch in our new worktop. Broke the frame of one of the cupboards, didn't use the bolts to join the worktops, silicone work was terrible...I could go on. Decided it wasn't worth the risk having them back to fix.

Hired Ronnie McPhee to do my driveway & drop kerb but it was a disaster. We even paid him labour & materials upfront. He said he would fix it but lied to us for 2.5mths for 2wk job & never returned. The job he did at my mums was not any better. He took a deposit of £1500 to build a new driveway & drop kerb. He only dug up the garden & never returned. His son & workmen also took work tools of new contractors we hired to fix my mums place! Cant believe how we have been treated. Don’t trust! 0/10

John came out to view and price the job at the agreed date and time and then came out to carry out the work a few days later. The job turned out to be more complicated than initially thought but he went above and beyond to complete the work.
I accepted an offer for building work. PT Solutions did not turn up to carry out the work neither did they give any reason for this.

BMD completed the job a head of time and within budget. The trades men were all good they respected our home and always cleaned up after themselves. Could not say a bad word about them (even the singing brickies). I am so glad I got these alterations done I got the right builder for the job.
