Thanks Paul, here is how I see it from a customers perspective. I waited over two weeks for an estimate and had to chase. You said you were off sick and immediately sent me an estimate for £395 . I costed the parts and they were around £70 so you were charging £325 for labour. I reckoned it was a 2hr job and have since had work done and just under 2hrs at a total cost of £190. So in my simple head you were charging £160/hour for labour versus £60/hour . Just tell customers the truth if job too small

David and his team were brilliant to deal with. David got in touch shortly after I posted the advert. He gave me a good price and arranged to come out to sort everything. After he sent me a text on the original date, we decided to wait until a drier day. He was in touch first thing this morning to make sure things were still going to plan and arrived when he said he would.
