garden decking laid too close to wall (touching), and above DPC, approx cost to investigate/rectify (create air gap)? or rip out entirely and start afresh?

It would need to be viewed to be priced,but it sounds repairable without ripping it all out.I can quote you if your in the south east kent area

You'd need people to look at this to price it. A fein saw might be able to cut the boards in situe but its problably as quick to whip them off and trim them. People do some dumb things don't they!!! Jon Wild
