It took a while for them to start the works, finished a lot sooner than expected and scoffolding came down not long after. Once the job had been completed, it looks great and very pleased with the outcome. They still have holes to fill in where scaffolding was attached to, they did say they will return to fill holes but yet to see them return, it has been around four weeks since scaffolding came down. Apart from that, overall happy with workmanship

Tom and his team are total stars! Whatever I throwed at him he would sort out and fix for me. A real "can do" mentality that is so refreshing in the building trade. I started with one job and because they did it so well, i asked them to quote on lots of larger jobs in my flat (as i was completely redoing the flat i purchased after the same person had lived there for 40 years). Tom and his team can turn their hands to anything . I TOTALLT trust them and would recommend them to my kids and parents

Scaffolding specialists - what you need to know

Scaffolding is a temporary structure built from steel or aluminium components to support tradespeople, tools and materials whilst work is done on a building or house. You’ll need scaffolding for work at height that can’t be reached by a ladder or that’s easier to do from a more stable platform.

When you’ll need scaffolding

In most instances, scaffolding will be managed or sub-contracted by the tradespeople carrying out the building or remedial work to your property. In a small number of cases where you need to arrange scaffolding yourself, such as where you intend to carry out work on your property, you must use a builder or scaffolding specialist to erect the scaffolding. They will have had training and been deemed competent to do so.

What you need to know as a homeowner

There are extensive working at height regulations and whilst these don’t apply to homeowners (unless you’re working on your own home and the work places others at risk), you may want to ask your tradesperson about the precautions they take to reduce the risk of falls. This doesn’t necessarily mean scaffolding has to be used; harnesses and ladders can also be used.
