Have i employed an amature plasterer - corners terribly out!

Door returns are a good 3/4" after first coat (bonding) out at top to bottom on the corners and he is working around the electric sockets - partially burying them. Other areas look terribly out as well. Am I being picky and will it all come out with the top coat or should I stop him doing any more?

He should have taken sockets off then put back on when plastered, don't sound good

stop plasterer from making your walls into a nightmare as bonding is mainly used for filling voids or going over artex as when plastering its less than a couple of mm thick and sounds like he needs to go back to college
