What is the cost to fit a mortice lock to front door.

Current lock is not a mortice lock and the door does not close quietly.

I would need to know what the door is made of and whether it is flush (plain) or panelled or glazed. Does the lock have to meet an insurance specification. Can you describe why the 'door does not close quietly'? kind regards, Ken Grayling
