Good communication, turned up on time. Fitting was atrocious - five hours fitting a stair carpet, which was left with holes, not stretched or properly attached. He didn't know how to fit turns or curves. Our woodwork was damaged badly with his knife. When I politely pointed these things out, he collected his tools and left without taking payment and said that he "hadn't wanted to do the job anyway" despite the fact he viewed before and quoted. Carpet may have to be replaced. Very stressful/awkward.

John did a decent job moving some pipes around in my roofspace, although it took twice as long as he had estimated. He then borrowed £20 "for petrol money to get home" and did not pay it back. He has banked my cheque and ignored my request for an invoice. He refuses to respond to phone messages and texts. Use him at your own risk.

Chris did a great job on my flat roof; replacing the old felt roof for a new GRP fibre glass one, including replacing all the boards, facias and guttering. He is reliable and will explain anything you want to know about the job. He is very organised, works hard and tidies up afterwards.

Initially I was only going to have Decking done in my garden. After Andrew came and saw my garden he gave me a different idea and provided with me a scatch of paving and deck to transform my garden into some thing different. After he has done this it looks so nice. He transformed my garden completely. He is a very hard working gentleman.
