From start to finish Paul was excellent. He was reliable and very hard working. The standard of Paul's work was very good, ensuring all of it fully complied with buildings regulations. He always cleaned up well at the end of each day. Paul is a genuinely nice guy and very professional, as were the plumber, bricklayer and electrician he employed for the job. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul and would certainly employ him again for any future work. We are very happy with the new room we have.

Paul (PM Carpentry) has done an excellent job. He has organised the demolition of an old concrete/asbestos garage and built a garden studio in its place. He has guided me through the planning procedure and managed to complete only a month later than expected despite the relentless wet days this year, always with good humour and politeness. I would recommend him and his team to anyone.

Paul was prompt, punctual and courteous. He quoted after assessing and stuck to his quote. He shelved an awkwardly shaped alcove for me and left no mess.. I am very pleased with the result and have asked him to quote me for another job.

I was very happy with all aspects of the work that Paul did. The emersion heater repair was quite difficult but Paul had the experience to complete it very successfully. Paul also made sure that everywhere was left in a very clean and tidy manner. Thank you very much. I would certainly recommend this firm to others.

Paul came very promptly and I was very happy with the quote that he gave to fit a new loft ladder. The job was completed excellently on the date that we confirmed and Paul left everything in a very tidy and clean manner. I would certainly recommend him.

I have a very bad leak from a new gutter joint which I can’t seem to stop however hard I try.

Take fitting apart, ensure there is a rubber in the fitting to seal against the gutter. If not replace fitting. Only other possibility is the fitting is the wrong profile

Hi, we're preparing to have an extension built onto the side of our home, the first floor windows limit the angle of the roof and therefore the tiles we can have fitted. We want a slate look but the 14degree limit on the pitch means we can't use slate. I've seen a clay tile called the "CS Plasma tile" which states it's for use on roofs from 13degrees and I was wondering if this is suitable? I dont like the way concrete tiles look so awful after only a few years and natural slate is not possible at that angle. Is the CS Plasma a viable choice?

Tiled roofs with a low pitch are prone to leaking, is it possible to either have a flat roof with a rubber EDPM roof membrane or to increase the pitch and have reverse dormers fitted around the windows below roof line?
