Carpenter / Joiner

The first visit did not work out as the piece to be fitted (customer-supplied) was faulty. The joiner bought a new piece and returned next day to fit it and complete the job - all for the original quote (and cost of the piece). This was extra'special service. I would highly recommend.

Stephen did work on my kitchen floor. He repaired wet rot, but he exceeded my expectations. He finished the job in less than 2 full days. I have given his number to colleagues and family. I would very highly recommend Stephen as a genuine hardworking tradesman who could turn his hand to almost anything. He fitted my new cooker and fridge/freezer & removed the old ones. When I got from work after the work was complete the kitchen was immaculate. Please consider Stephen to do any work you require.

Stephen was quick to identify our damp smell problem. Gave us stage by stage photographic evidence to send to the insurance company. Completed renovation as promised and end result exceeded my expectations. Lovely job and no mess.

From the quote to completion of the job we couldn’t fault Stevie’s work at all. Fantastic finish, very friendly and punctual. During the pre planned work another few jobs became evident that would need work and Stevie was more than happy to take the jobs on whilst still completing the works within the original time frame. Great value for money and we will definitely use Stevie again for any further work in the future.

Stephen responded promptly to my enquiry. He came today when expected, he was lovely and obviously very experienced and knowledgeable. He examined the timbers thoroughly and informed me that there was no rot treatment required as stated by a previous tradesman, who I had been a bit suspicious of. He also pointed out another small bit of plumbing work that is required. I cannot recommend Stephen highly enough and I thank him very much for his services today.

The overhang at the front door (concrete) is dripping when it rains causing a puddle at the front door , in bad weather it freezes over causing a major problem , need to resolve this issue .

Hi Colin. I would recommend that you have a canopy built. It would cover the concrete ledge and look good. Also have it with a gutter and down pipe to take the rain water away.

Jodie Haywood's question

Hello, I'd like some quotes for moving (so I guess essentially installing a loft hatch and pull down stairs but I can 't work out the best category to post it in? I've looked through nearly all of then and cant see loft hatch as an option (sorry if I'm being blind or silly!) Loft extension seems a bit of a leap to me and I imagine they'd be looking for much bigger contracts! P.S I've just hit the same problem with posting this question so have opted for builders but am happy to be redirected!
