Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. A very good professional experience. There was a substance I didn’t have and wasn’t supplied by the manufacturers, but he completed the other tasks and came back a few days later to fit the trellises. I offered to pay for the work he’d completed that day, but said it was ok to pay when he came back to fit trellises. Very impressed with the work and will not hesitate to call on Alsite again. Highly recommended.

Originally was very pleased with work but then when had defective work manifested which needed repair he would not respond to emails or texts. Very disappointed following a great original start. If he would have just responded, even if it were just to confirm he may have problems I would have not needed to leave this comment. But he didn’t. It’s not just the job but the after service and ability to respond to defective work that also counts!

Simon and his team fitted laminate cladding on my two flights of stairs and sorted out the unfinished landing at the same time. It looks 300% better! There was a small problem which he returned repeatedly to fix. The only thing I would say is make sure the project is clearly explained to you. I hadn't understood exactly how stair cladding works, and so the result wasn't quite how I imagined it. But I love it now, and the work has been admired by other tradesmen who've seen it.

He knew his stuff while quoting and filled me with confidence and gave a very reasonable price. Before starting any work he covered my floor with plastic to protect it and was very careful not to scratch any walls.
