Gas / Heating engineer

Given a detailed account of his business prior to me asking him to do the job not like the other person who contacted me and then changed his price. I checked the date on his identification on arrival all was good. Explained in detail the safety factors of my fire and left everything clean and tidy. I will definetely ask BSR back again. Thank you for excellent service.

I spoke to Ben in the morning & he arranged to call round after his current job. Arrived at midday & spent 45 minutes servicing the boiler & explaining things I needed to know. I am very pleased with his work & will recommend him to my neighbours.

I put the job on here and within 24 hrs the boiler service was completed. Ben turned up on time and did everything that was expected. I also mentioned a couple of minor jobs and his advice has saved us approx £200. Will definitely use Ben again

Gas / Heating engineer

I cannot praise Ben enough. Punctual, polite and very understanding of the needs of older people. He carries ID which he shows upon arrival which is so important these days for anyone who has had bad experiences with tradespeople. Trust me, if I could fault Ben, I would, but he has restored my Mum's faith in tradesmen somewhat which is no mean feat. He explained the process of what he was doing, showed me the digital readings of the boiler performance and assured my Mum she did not need a new boiler.

Hello, We have very low tap water pressure in both our toilets after using them. Is it due to our boiler or is it a plumbing issue? Just so we can post a job accordingly. Thank you!

If it’s the taps in the sink then it’s a boiler issue. If it’s the rate in which the toilet fills back up then it’s a plumbing issue.

In our large roomed house the heating control thermostat is in the least used of two rooms. I have been told that this room, with the thermostat, has to be heated in order for the heating in the other room to work. As all radiators have thermostatic valves can the thermostat control be disconnected and the heating be regulated with the installed thermostatic valves?. The boiler is a Worcester which heats on demand.

The simplest thing to do would be to purchase a wireless thermostat and have a gas safe engineer install it into the boiler for you and to remove the old one. You can then take the wireless console to any room in your house and set up times for heating etc.
