I booked Chris to wallpaper a showhome in Cirencester when I am based up in Cheshire, So I have not been able to meet him but over the phone he was very professional and made me feel confident that he was going to do a good job and be reliable. We installed the showhome yesterday and his quality of work is excellent I am very happy. He was a great cost effective solution, thanks Chris for making the process uncomplicated!

Painter and decorator

Chris has done a fantastic job of decorating my whole house. He is very polite , professional and extremely helpful , always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the customer is happy. He is very trustworthy and turned up on time every day and always left the house clean and tidy which is not always easy when a whole house is being decorated. I am very pleased with Chris's work and would recommend him to any prospective customer.

Painter and decorator

Very happy with quality of work, professionalism and speed. Everything was done exactly as specified and with minimal fuss. Fee was slightly above the average but you get what you pay for! Very trustworthy too, as work was carried out when I was not at home. Would definitely have Chris back to do further jobs and would recommend him to others.

I have some rosewood colour uPVC windows in a room where they are completely the wrong colour - is is possible to paint them with white gloss paint? If so, what would be the best way to go about it?

Hi Larraine, I agree with Brian, you need to use a UPVC paint, available from Dulux or other paint manufacturers and you will be able to paint them white. Chris.

Small bedroom on first floor of Victorian building has 2 exterior walls, brickwork. Very cold in winter and condensation on walls makes it damp. What is the most effective way of insulating the walls?

  • Chris Dinham's Answer

Hi Carolyn, Another option would be to use a product which is available from B & Q as well as other DIY places: Wallrock Natural Thermal Liner by Erfurt The Wallrock Thermal Liner is also an excellent cover for cracked plaster work and unfashionable textures. Allows walls to breathe and resists mould and damp formation and produces a stable surface for wallpaper. I've used it on a few jobs and been very impressed with it. Its a cheaper option than some of the other ideas and less messy too! Chris
