Window fitter / Conservatory installer

City Glazing is very efficient. They were very prompt at quoting and booking the job. The fitters did a very good job but they did not make it for the first date so it had to be rebooked until after Christmas. I do recommend City Glazing for the quality and value.

Thank you to Karan. THe property with the new windows looks great. Even thought this was bit more expensive then the other quotes i had received.i will say that the 3 peoples who fittings the window were good. they worked hard and all got finished in two days. Not only that but the builder i was using for the extention built, decided to use City Glazing to supply the french door and new window in the extention. I will not hesitat to recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you Karan

Window fitter / Conservatory installer

Oct/Nov 2011. With the 30% discount the price was excellent for a very good quality upvc product. The rep, generally, was very helpful but occasionally communication was lacking as the whole process was not explained terribly well at the outset. The original fitter, who eventually decided he couldn't do the job, took measurements which didn't work when input into the manufacturers computer and a 2nd measurement was taken which also subsequently was incorrect when the 2 bow window cills supplied didn't fit. The rep did immediately get the manufacturer to come round to measure correctly. The fitters employed are not from City Glazing but independent local builders. Read the contract before signing as the BUYER needs to be totally satisfied with the fitters work, although the work is overseen by City Glazing. You'll be constantly reminded you have a 10 year warranty but I'm still not 100% convinced the fitting of my bay windows was done to current building regulations! I'm no expert but there's plenty of info on the web! Whilst the finish was adequate and the rep was approachable I would suggest there are better fitters around and perhaps worth paying a higher price elsewhere. This was my experience. You may get a different rep and/or different fitters. Overall I would give City Glazing a mark of around 50-60%.

The hinge on our window (top hung) doesn't appear to line up with the other side so there is a 5mm gap when closed. Is there a way to tighten it?
