Electrician

I was so impressed with Shamshir and can't recommend him highly enough - he came over straight away, really knew his stuff and worked incredibly hard to fix what turned out to be an extremely complex problem. He will definitely be my go-to electrician from now on!

Electrician

From the first day Shamshir come to view the job I could tell he was a very professional person assessed the job gave us a quote on the spot followed by a written quote next day. Shamshir arrived on time on the day we agreed and did an excellent job with very little disruption to our daily routine. The job took a little longer than expected through no fault of Shamshir and what we notice was Shamshir good nature and positive attitude to his work. I have no reservation to recommend Shamshir to our netfriends

Electrician

Got the job done very quickly and went the extra mile to make sure the fittings were correct. Was very transparent about pricing which was also reasonable. Happy to recommend.

Electrician

A friendly and professional service all round. Highly recommended foot all jobs big or small. A very hands on electrician with great knowledge. Shamshir went beyond the call of duty several times and even assisted me in a spot of plastering. Will definitely be using again.

Lorraine Pearman's question

I have just ordered a new cooker. It requires 30 amperage. We have checked the fuse box but don't know if the circuit is 30a. It is a hager fuse box and 32b is stamped on the cooker fuse switch. Does that mean it is 30A? Thanks

Hi, yes the 32b means it is a 32amp B type circuit breaker. That will be adequate for you cooker. It also should be Rcd protected at the main consumer unit and the cooker circuit at the kitchen end should have an independent switch to isolate the cooker. Regards Easy Electrical Care Shamshir

I want to change a two gang wall socket to a three gang socket , its an MK triple fused socket and i understand the 13 amps is between the three sockets. What will be plugged into the new socket is a surge protected trailing extension lead with a soundbar and a freesat box and amazon echo, the next thing is a single socket extension which will power a television and the third will be a ethernet socket . Would the socket cope with this, the two gang socket has two sets of cable but there is a socket the other side of the wall feeding that socket but again has two cables i also know i will have to replace the back box all this is no problems my main question is of the new socket will cope or go for another two gang next to the the other if indeed the socket is not a spur thank you everybody. Thanks for all the help so far, would like to know if the worst case scenario the double socket already there is a spur is it still ok to swap to a triple gang socket . regards bill

The circuit in question, check the MCB at the consumer unit which powers the circuit you are referring to, if it's a 32A then you have a ring circuit which is more than capable to take the loads you are referring to, I.e surge, tv etc Regards Shamshir EECare
