We found a leak behind the washing machine and went on to Rated People .com. Ian was the first to call.We were so relieved he came the next day. He was very polite, professional and reassuring, also very patient as we had just moved in and did not know where the stop cock etc was yet.He also took the time to explain what he was doing and why. It was a relief to have a builder who doesn't take on other jobs at the same time. Mark and Gaz gave a reasonable timeframe and price and stuck to it. We had recently bought the property and ended up asking for considerably more work to be done than was first advertised. This is largely testament to the fact that we had built a trusting relationship with Mark and had peace of mind that the job would get done well and for the price quoted. Yes his banter was terrible at times but you can't have it all!
