We have the home we wanted so we are happy with the job. It wasn't just refurbishment, but constructive changes took place and also rooms were remodelled, ceiling constructions were redone and new floors were laid down. Unfortunately as soon as the work was done we developed a leak in the roof (I'm not saying they are related). We were told by Alan's son that the damp was simply the wall drying out. It wasn't and got progressively worse. We did contact Alan again who said he'd come around but didn't. Three other builders have said that the lead work wasn't correctly done and we've since had to pay for it to be redone.

Dan did an excellent job. He took some photos I gave him of a cover I had seen online with a curved top and some measurements of my radiators. He then created some clear CAD drawings of the design to show what the covers would look like. The end result was fantastic and he fitted them snugly to the walls and cut in the skirting board profile perfectly. A great result, solid sturdy covers with a great finish applied. I would thoroughly recommend Dan for any bespoke project you are considering.
