Hello and thanks for looking at my profile. I have a great interest in how spaces work for my clients and I find it amazing how I can totally transform how a space looks and feels. I absolutely love designing spaces and have the skillsets of doing all of the work myself. A lot of people entrust me to design the spaces for them and choose and source all of the materials I use. Of course people may want to do this themselves and I can happily work with provided materials if that is your wish. Each job is different and has its own challenges but with my imagination and experience I transform homes. I am also a trained decorator and provide a high standard of finish. I'm a very friendly and trustworthy person and understand the importance of being respectful in someones home. As you can see in my ratings, people have said lovely things about me over the years. I am very happy with the work John did for me and I have no hesitation in recommending him. When providing a quote, he took many pictures and explained in detail the work that would be required and his recommendations. On the day, he arrived on time and completed the work professionally and at the agreed price. Hello! I'm a fully qualified bricklayer(city and guilds 1992) with over 30 years' experience in the trade. I am primarily a bricklaying specialist though I am more than happy to do natural stone work as well. I have worked on and completed many projects including new builds, small and large extensions, commercial and private developments, retaining walls, stone work, re-pointing, renovations, fireplaces, Indian stone flagging, renovations and structural alterations. I have sub-contracted for most of the major house builders, worked for private developers, and also many bricklaying contractors, though I am now focussing on working direct for the public offering a professional, efficient and competitive bricklaying service which includes all aspects of bricklaying from new builds,extensions and garden/retaining walls right through to a small repair job! I am so impressed with the work carried out by Multitrade. They completed all the work (stairs, two built in cupboards, architraves, skirting boards, 30msq of wood flooring) to a VERY high standard and at all times considered my budget. Suggestions were made along the way on ways that would improve the job. Multitrade are also able to recommend a quality plasterer (Craig - Plaster Right) which worked well. Between them they could agree on what work was needed when so that they could work around each other. Provide plenty of tea to wet their whistle and you can be sure you will get a quality result. Pat and Sam made very short work of removing two bushes and stumps, plus trimming the front hedge, jobs which together that would have taken me all day. The clean-up could have been better, but I'm nonetheless very satisfied with the actual work. I found them to be prompt, reliable, and effiecient, and would recommend them as tree surgeons.
