Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Their range of ability, attention to detail and work ethic has been really reliable. They turned up every day all day and nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to recommend them and we have just agreed to a further round of work for them to undertake as we are so pleased.

Not good, will not recommend to any one.he gave me quote and accepted and suppose to start job between 8 and 9 am. Turned up at 10am, started digging out the brick paving for 10 minutes then stated walking around to the van, then came back and started again after 10 minutes gone again and eventually came back 15:00, then I had word with him that he suppose to finish the job today. He said don’t worry I will finish today, hardly done any work by 5pm .next day he came and took all tools and left me in mass.
Long delay to fit unit with no contact for weeks.Screw put through water pipe, causing damage to flooring and on repair of this,more damage caused to flooring.Poor quality wood used, item not stained when requested. Cannot use a nail gun sucessfully, nails sticking out on top of unit.Weeks of no answer to calls to put things right. Compensation eventually offered for damages and hassle caused, then no answer when trying to collect compensation.Very poor service.I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy.

Reasonable job but following issues. 1) Expensive maybe 30% higher than competition feel ripped off. 2) wall corners are showing large cracks after only 1 week. 3) I had to ask for them to clean up after themselves and also put dust sheets down at the start. 4) Offered hose so they could mix away from the house, but they refused and proceeded to mix holding bucket up the wall damaging my box hedging. 5) rendered walls have not been done below skirting board level, so i need to fill gaps myself in the wall.

work done on my house was so bad that the council told him to stop work and rectify the issue, called my all sorts of names when he got caught out and did not finish the job. do not employ them. I can show you 30 minute video of what state he left my house in, keep demanding money for work and has not competed one single job he has charged me for. stay well clear. I wouldn't even give them 1 star but you have to in order to leave review
