Steve assessed the work that needed doing to fix the damp problems in an open and transparent manner without trying to sell me expensive damp proof solutions that weren’t needed (like many others do!), and fitted me in the next day. Whilst out here, he also sorted a couple of other damp issues and resolved those too. Plastering finish is spot on and great communication. Fingers crossed that’s the damp under control for good now! Would definitely recommend Steve and will be using him again.

John is a really nice guy, I'd love to rate his actual work but after chasing for quotes for a few weeks I should have realised. I've been constantly chasing for three months to get the work complete. No option but to return insurance cheque for payment for the work I can't get completed and go through the whole process again with someone reliable. Shame as i said he seemed a really nice guy!.

The standard of work was so good that I asked for a quote to fence the area where the conifers were and he's got that job too. Would recommend highly.

Great job done by the guys at CKJ Construction, from the initial consultation through to the work itself. The job was a combination of pulling up, cleaning, re-laying and pointing tiles around the perimeter of the house as well as removing some bushes, putting down turf and installing new sleepers. All work done to a good standard with attention to detail and at a fair price. Would definitely use again and would recommend for a wide variety of jobs. Thank you!

Luke and team came out to view the job. His communication was excellent working the appointment around my available and turned up bang on time. He reviewed the problem with the drain and managed find a blockage and cleared it straight away. There was no charge for the unblocking as it was a simple solution but Luke offered some advice to ensure the issue won’t happen again and some potential fixes going forward.
