They communicated with me if bad weather stopped play etc. The render looks good and the painting of sills etc is very neat. They cleared up after themselves too. Hired Ronnie McPhee to do my driveway & drop kerb but it was a disaster. We even paid him labour & materials upfront. He said he would fix it but lied to us for 2.5mths for 2wk job & never returned. The job he did at my mums was not any better. He took a deposit of £1500 to build a new driveway & drop kerb. He only dug up the garden & never returned. His son & workmen also took work tools of new contractors we hired to fix my mums place! Cant believe how we have been treated. Don’t trust! 0/10

Chris and his crew were very efficient and got all the work done as planned making my roof leak free and fixing all the faults of a previous contractor, Everything was explained to me clearly and what was required to get the roof into tip top condition. They replied quickly and commenced work 2 days after receiving quote. Turned up on time farther an son working together very polite. Whole job cost £900 for painting and some rendering of front and back of terraced house and there was a few bits of woodwork which was overlooked. It took them two days and it seemed to be rushed at end so hence the overlook of arch by front door.
Very Happy with the work done guys worked hard and Hugh was Happy to answer any questions I had. Hugh was very knowledgeable and friendly and job was done to a very good standard. I would have no hesitation in hiring him again

AVOID!.... The proprietor took a deposit from me and then strung me along without giving me a start date for the work. When I eventually cancelled the job, he refused to refund the deposit. His company cannot be contacted via the "website", his social media links at the top right and bottom left of the page don't link to Macklin Glazing social media accounts. Macklin Glazing is also not registered anywhere.
