Stefan arrived promptly at 7.45 am as promised. First he measured the variation in the floor level as well as the roughness of the finished surface. He agreed that a 5mm coating would produce a smooth finish but that I would need twice as much screed to properly level the floor. Apparently he plenty of screed ( Ardex) in his van. He quickly prepared the site by sweeping and vacuuming it clean, then primed the floor and mixed the screed. This was spread evenly and finished inside an hour. Good job done.

I've been a handy man for 2 years , been working for a plumbing company for 3 years ,now main trade is ground worker (finishings slabs edging etc)internal external drainage,block and beam) We also do suspended ceiling and drylining. I’ve had to change this rating due to rating too prematurely initially. After fitting our laminate flooring, we have had nothing but issues with slats coming up, nails too long out of the skirting and the door trim not being secure. Although both came out once and glued the LVT down in places we are finding more come up. My husband is now going to have to glue them all down after paying over 1k for supply and fit or alternatively have it taken out and redone.

Could not have asked for a better job. Professional to the end. Lovely work done. Barry came and gave us a comprehensive breakdown of all the costs involved in doing the project (which I find other tradesmen do not always do). Was very friendly and completed the work in a timely fashion. The final result looks great.
