John is a really nice guy, I'd love to rate his actual work but after chasing for quotes for a few weeks I should have realised. I've been constantly chasing for three months to get the work complete. No option but to return insurance cheque for payment for the work I can't get completed and go through the whole process again with someone reliable. Shame as i said he seemed a really nice guy!.
Handyman, most aspects of work undertaken
Came to fit a new shower tray and enclosure 19/12 and fit a lintel over a fire which was done well.However the shower we found 2 days after, due to waiting for sealant to dry, is unusable as the water does not drain away and floods the floor, also the tiles they put on around the shower fell off the wall as they were not stuck on properly before grout. I had paid them the day the job was done .I asked Paul to rectify it and he said he would on 31/12,then didn't attend & told me to get another plumber !

Kev and his team landscaped our garden in the New Year, ripping out the existing decking and laying down turf as well as putting us some borders in and generally tidying up the space. I was really impressed. Everyone involved was very friendly, very considerate. They worked quickly and were excellent value for money. Daniel had a difficult job trying to paint our ceilings white(4 off) because of the different existing colours but he kept coming back to recoat them until we were both happy. He is a grand lad, very cheerful and helpful.
Jason was absolutely first class from initial contact to completion of the job. A really genuine guy who worked out the most cost effective way to do the job. A very neat builder and completed the removal of my door and bricking up in the day. Once finished went above and beyond to ensure everything was neat and tidy. I would not hesitate in recommending Jason to do a job and I will be using him again. Thanks Stuart

I have been a fully qualified joiner for 20 years. I undertake all aspects of joinery work.
When he started working on doors and set up his working space outside in the back garden I realized he was not being careful and whilst he was swapping doors to grind them he scratched my Kitchen door. Also when he used his machine to make groove for hinges he damaged another door. Then came the hanging of doors to frames and he bent the hinge on one door, so it was not closing properly. He did two days’ work and said he will return to complete the job few days later but he not returned.
