I then went straight out into the world of self-employment. Although this was, (and still is) my preferred way to spend time I soon realised the tilers around me were earning more than I was. So, back to college I went to learn how to tile. Fast forward to 1990 when off I went again on my own. By 1992 I had a small team working with me on commercial and residential projects and now with over 30 years experience in the trade I know that it costs no more to give perfection than to give second best.... and that's what we offer. We have extensive experience with all sizes of tile from large format (2400 x 1200) to mosaics including all popular sized ceramics, natural stone and porcelain. We are quite happy taking on large floor areas down to small bathrooms. Whilst we pride ourselves in the quality of our workmanship we are extremely competitively priced. We used Nick (arcitile) twice. On both occasions Nick viewed the jobs and we explained our requirements. He went away to work his quotes out, and then sent them to us. After the first job was completed, we were invoiced for more money than originally quoted. The same thing happened on the second job, this time there was an approximate increase of 40% from the original quote. We would NOT recommend this contractor to you.

The bottom line is it was a waste of both your time and mine if you were not interested, I think that the eventual profit would have more than covered lead costs, if not then you are doing something very wrong, I deal with CPC (Cost Per Click) every day every business I know allows a fund for this, out of every 10 clicks (that cost them) only one may bear fruit, I think you need to re-think strategies, I have increased value rating because at the end of the day your initial quote came in at a good price.

Ted gave me a quote. The work was carried out. As my request he bought all the material needed. Replaced old pipes with new and unit under kitchen was replaced. He kniws what he is doing, Thankyou Ted.
I was very pleased with the work that was done, and he did a couple of extra jobs for me at the time. He was very easy to feel comfortable with, completely reliable and very clean whilst working. I didn't actually get another quote as I went with my gut instint as it was more important to get a good job. If I had any critisism, it would be that the job quote was for one week, but it actually only took just over two days.
