Don’t know if the quality or value was up too much because I never got a final quote, large sized job worth an estimated 60K from other builders, they came around to look, took 2 weeks to quote (with chasing) when I got the quote it was incomplete so I asked for missing items to be added, chased again for another few weeks but still have not received quote to date, they said they were interested in the job but in the end I don’t think they were, I wish they had just told me instead of wasting my time?

  Didn't waste anyone's time it was a question of me having to buy a lead which I am out of pocket for!

  Sorry, I don’t understand? your initial quote came in well below others, the way it was going it was highly likely you would have got the job, the only reason you would be out of pocket at this point is because you did not follow through and get your quote in on time and I had to keep chasing you. Apart from that it is part of business if you buy leads as an acceptable loss should your tender not be strong enough against competitors, Similar to advertising you gain it on the next job or put a fund by.

  The bottom line is it was a waste of both your time and mine if you were not interested, I think that the eventual profit would have more than covered lead costs, if not then you are doing something very wrong, I deal with CPC (Cost Per Click) every day every business I know allows a fund for this, out of every 10 clicks (that cost them) only one may bear fruit, I think you need to re-think strategies, I have increased value rating because at the end of the day your initial quote came in at a good price.
