Needed some internal work, including walls and chimney removal. Price was competitive and the work was excellent. Turned up on time, kept us informed and no hidden extras! Not only was the work first class he also took the hassle of building control, submitted the documents and when the inspector wanted an extra bracket for the chimney, he was there, as arranged 2 days later to fit it. The porch was contracted for 18 days. Allowing time to finish the job after 6 weeks this was not complete. The new porch looks good from the outside and seems built structurally correctly. Having allowed extra time to finish the job it remained unfinished with adhesive stains on facia boards, internally no gaps filled, sealing nor painting completed. During the process we had to request for various matters to be fixed as they were not done to a reasonable standard. The overall experience was disappointing

John didn't carry out the work for me in the end, as the quote for materials far exceeded estimate given. However, he attended the property the very next day I think, he measured up and gave guidance as to what I needed to buy which was very helpful.
While the work has been excellent Sterling Construction have left a job half finished for over seven months. Their reliability leaves a lot to be desired which is a shame considering the first job they completed was carried out so well.
