James completed a full flat refurbishment for me. New Bathroom, new radiators, complete redecoration of all rooms inc plastering, new laminate flooring. Nothing too much trouble, turned up on time and everything finished to a high standard. Fair price for a fair job. He even came back a few weeks later to finish off some work that couldn’t be done on the original job due to late fitting by another contractor (not him!). This was one of those jobs that had various problems from the start. Having said that SMS did put them all right without complaint. The quote given for the clearing of the site AND the complete redesign was excellent. The original deadline was missed by a long way primarily due to misjudging the anomalies of the site (eg the underlying concrete was a lot thicker than anticipated). SMS were slow in clearing the site after the work was done - it took almost three weeks before the last of the rubble and debris were moved. Overall, I am pleased with the work done and the final result and would be prepared to use them again.
Andy worked really hard and efficiently to do an excellent job re-pointing our 200+ year-old windmill in lime mortar. We were really pleased with the work and expect to be asking him back for more jobs in the future.

An excellent job completed on time as expected. Wayne is the only painter I have employed who took the time to remove all the gutters in order to completely paint underneath them.
