Terrible job left grout all over tiles which has now dried in had to get him back the nxt day slightly better job hopefull bath is sealed. Think I should get my money back will NEVER use him again forvthis type of job.

Big gaps in flooring now. His colleague left kitchen skirting uneven and broken. Avoiding calls to repair even after repeated contacts. Will not recommend because he failed to deliver quality finish.

An extremely professional job completed by a really nice chap who worked industriously over the 3 days. I am not even sure if he had a lunch break! AVOID!.... John Lindsay is not a genuine trader. He took a deposit from me and then strung me along without giving me a start date for the work. When I eventually cancelled the job, he refused to refund the deposit. His company website is a false front. His company cannot be contacted via the website, his social media links at the top right and bottom left of the page link to Sky News. Macklin Glazing is also not registered with companies house.

We have been through 7 months trying to get our cabin and decking and patio rectified to an acceptable standard. They started off well and Elliott had a great attitude but his employee was terrible and couldn't cut two planks the same length leaving everything looking really like a DIY project gone wrong. They now have a qualified joiner who is a big improvement and he was working his way through all the defects and rebuilding planters, relaying the patio and re cladding the cabin. Now they have disappeared
We are a landscaping company. As well as digger hire with operative the company also specialise in landscaping. We can help with driveways, mono block, tar, concrete, and extensions, astroturf, returfing, decking, fencing and slabbing.
Still has not finished our decking, after starting in December 2019. We have paid MrMackie for all the materials and they have not arrived

Do not hire this person. He gave us a quote for the job and told us he would be Tuesday. On Monday he text to say could we move to Wednesday...no problem. Wednesday he showed up for 5 minutes then disappeared with no explanation?? We tried to get hold of him all day. Eventually he text my husband back that night saying the job was worth more than he had initially quoted sorry for misunderstanding!! Why not just say I’ve misunderstood when I initially quoted and tell us the new price? Don’t just disappear!!
Prompt reply and provided quote, could not proceed as outside budget.

Unfortunately after coming out and giving me a quote. Which we later agreed a slightly lower price on. Then never showed up to do the work. (Now a week later) Not even a courtesy text message to let me know.
