This company turned up on time in order to look at what was required and quote what I thought to be a fair price. Unfortunately after I had agreed for them to have the job. They failed to contact to finalise dates. So I had to find someone else.
mariusz and leszek did a good job with my bathroom and ensuite renov given the budget and the tight schedule i had (10days). i suggest be clear with what you want at the beginning and put everything down in writing.

New build and commercial work. I am a happy person I have a eye for detail. I can also call upon family and work friends if I have a large job to complete. Agreed a price of £85 for the service. Mr Griffiths arrived 50 mins late and pressed a reset button that I pointed out to him. He then told me he came out to get the rayburn going and NOT for a service as he would charge £200. He then had a good look around my home and priced up other work for and insisted on payment for the rayburn. I have been left £85 out of pocket, with a rayburn not working and very intimidated by the mannner this 'local' trademen operated. So upset I didnt leave the house for days.

Was open to changes I had whilst the world was underway and was incredibly professional. I would advise anyone looking to hire Craig to look past the handful of negative reviews. I couldn't be happier with the work completed.

Gave a good quote which I accepted. I felt confident he knew his stuff and would do a good job. But then was a no-show. Offered some vague dates. Didn't hear anything for over a week. Got a message saying he'd had a family emergency (hope all was okay). A week later tried to call me once while I was out so I couldn't answer, but never tried to get back to me. Disappointing. Job still needs doing.

The quotation was not provided. The contract was not provided until job was complete. No details at start of job to show exactly what was to be done, with no cost of materials, labour and VAT shown separately. No payment arrangements and start/finish dates provided. Plasterer had to redo x1 wall.

Came out to quite rapidly and price seemed decent. So many reasons not to make agreed time to do work across a month, until I finally gave in trying to get him to do the work. Me chasing night before to be told wouldn’t be there next day, as opposed to him letting me know.
