Employed these workmen to supply and fit a window, seems very nice and helpfull, with a guarantee to fix a condensation problem. I have raised complaints with them after first day of fitting and I have been totally ignored and charged an extra £150 to fix a problem on a different window. he did not do the work but he took the money. I would not recommend and I think that Rated People should be held responsible, as workman are employed because they have come through on the Rated People website. Rip off.
I had a automatic shutter installed by this company. This company completed the work in a timely fashion and left the premises clean and tidy. I would recommend them in future.

Gave estimates for two jobs which I accepted, seemed pleasant and friendly, (one job had to be postponed to new year , my fault) but unfortunately he then had a terrible run of bad luck , first Saturday there was another job, second Saturday twisted ankle and third Saturday van broke down and now no response so will have to look elsewhere .

We were quoted an extremely competitive price (Charlies quote was almost half of that quoted by a well-known competitor) and once we had accepted his quote, we were amazed at how quickly work began. It was carried out with a minimum of fuss and disruption. Charlie has transformed what was once a cold, unusable room into a functioning extension to out home. I definitely recommend him.

The Locksmiths are an established locksmith company, with over 10 years of experience in the trade. We pride ourselves in our exceptional attention to detail, fine workmanship and punctuality.
A few weeks after the repair the first problem occurred, I called them but they wanted to charge me a call out fee of £49.00 to have a look at it after I paid £150.00 to have it repaired. I refused thus called a different locksmith who noted that the cylinder was too short for the new lock and page security should have known this and changed it while fitting the new lock. Now I have a temperamental lock that works 1/20 called them again and was told I have to pay £49.00 to have someone look at it.

Thank you for the company reply.....3 months after this took place. My neighbours and I are down £360, which was what your Rated People "builder" charged us, and then of course did the runner. My comments were honest, as per the dealings with the above company. If your system had somehow been hacked, and a complete stranger turned up to our address, then I guess there are bigger issues here. In the meantime, if the company wants to compensate us for this theft, I'll be more than willing to hear from them.

They were not unqualified. They met every regulation in the book. You first said the wires needed to be in conduit, but when I had this checked, you then accepted that this was not the case. You said the 'regulation had changed' but conduit was never a legal requirement, just something done for practicality. The electricity was working fine for 3 days before you came and started working. This is nothing personal just bad trademanship, which I have a moral duty to highlight to others.
