Builder has now responded and assures me that the snagging problems will be fixed next week. I am glad that he has been in touch as I don't like giving negative feedback, but as I rely on other people's feedback feel it only fair to be as honest as possible without malice. ****Four Stars ****
Terrible job left grout all over tiles which has now dried in had to get him back the nxt day slightly better job hopefull bath is sealed. Think I should get my money back will NEVER use him again forvthis type of job.

An extremely professional job completed by a really nice chap who worked industriously over the 3 days. I am not even sure if he had a lunch break! AVOID!.... The proprietor took a deposit from me and then strung me along without giving me a start date for the work. When I eventually cancelled the job, he refused to refund the deposit. His company cannot be contacted via the "website", his social media links at the top right and bottom left of the page don't link to Macklin Glazing social media accounts. Macklin Glazing is also not registered anywhere.

We have been through 7 months trying to get our cabin and decking and patio rectified to an acceptable standard. They started off well and Elliott had a great attitude but his employee was terrible and couldn't cut two planks the same length leaving everything looking really like a DIY project gone wrong. They now have a qualified joiner who is a big improvement and he was working his way through all the defects and rebuilding planters, relaying the patio and re cladding the cabin. Now they have disappeared

Do not hire this person. He gave us a quote for the job and told us he would be Tuesday. On Monday he text to say could we move to Wednesday...no problem. Wednesday he showed up for 5 minutes then disappeared with no explanation?? We tried to get hold of him all day. Eventually he text my husband back that night saying the job was worth more than he had initially quoted sorry for misunderstanding!! Why not just say I’ve misunderstood when I initially quoted and tell us the new price? Don’t just disappear!!
