Joseph and his team were brilliant and had a great attention to detail. We fully renovated our garden and Jo brought some great ideas that we implemented within the project. We also asked Jo to help us create something special for our late son and he took this project to heart and made something so beautiful. We manufacture and fit certified fire-doors full time. Hi I’m Matthew, I work at a fire door firm, any work I can bring in for myself or the firm is ideal. With new door installs we aim to survey, manufacture & fit within 2 weeks, (door number dependant). Tools & vans & labour is a given. We take on and firedoor works (remedials & new installs) , and any related fire works I.e. firestopping and fire rated partitions / ceilings. We work to a high standard given that fire-doors have strict tolerances and product specifications. We only use the correct products (mastic & A1 / firebatt and blue 60 foam where allowed) and fire-rated ironmongery. We include a report with our works which includes before, during and after photos with any comments / suggestions relating to fire safety. Work in mostly with contracts on care homes and student accommodation, tidiness and quality work is guaranteed - always willing to go back. Working with contracts, there can be breaks in-between phases of works smaller jobs are perfect as well! My teams is respectful, with tons of experience and willing to go the extra mile for tenants/ landlords clients all the same. Years of experiences in the firm - personally been on firedoors full time for 4 years. Have all the related courses, worked on prisons, military bases, care homes , student accommodation all over the UK fitting doors & fire rated partitions ceilings & firestopping works. Work alongside joiners with over 40 years experience and electricians with their own firms. Personal qualifications include: joiner nvq level2 (5yrs), (currently getting my black card), FIRAS certified fire-door fitter, asbestos, manual handling, working at heights, first aider & CRB checked ??. Before I was an apprentice joiner I was a fixer’s apprentice for 2 years (drywall & MF). Work with a number of joiners and electricians, work outside our scope is also welcome! I have completed the level 3 Advanced Modern Apprenticeship at college, along with the City & Guilds awards and many other certificates. I'm experienced in all aspects of my trade. Thanks to Pavel I now have a new staircase in the bedroom and the ladder has finally gone :) Pavel contacted me, arranged to visit to assess the job and advised it would be cheaper to buy a staircase and install that instead of building one from scratch. New staircase arrived and Pavel worked his magic to get it installed - absolutely over the moon. Pavel is a joiner with exceptional skills and comes highly recommended.
