Sorry to hear you were unhappy with parts of the service, but thank you for your 4-star feedback. Before starting the job, I informed you about the duct condition and explained the work required, including possible extra materials. The agreed labour cost was £200. I also explained before starting that the fan duct was damaged and needed replacing. I purchased the materials from B&Q, provided the receipts, and you kindly paid an additional £14 towards fuel and travel time. Regarding the cable, I informed you

Adam was quick to respond and provide his services. The job was done well other than a couple of minor issues: - Job ended up costing about 25% more than the initial estimate. - Electrical wire was left hanging rather than being attached to the ceiling or wall.

Regarding the cable, the wire supplied with the extractor fan was too short from the factory. This is a specialist 5-core cable (live, neutral, earth, low speed, and high speed) and it is safely secured within the extractor fan area, which is not an accessible or unsafe location. I understand you may have preferred a different finish, but at the time I explained the limitation with the cable length and no concerns were raised. If another solution had been requested then, we could have discussed alternative
