Had a new internal door supplied and fitted .Old door was removed and taken away .Cleaned up afterwards .Left everything as they found very efficient Clean and tidy .pleased with finished result In my budget as I didn't require a expensive door .Just right to replace my excisting now old door . Also a another door that wasnt closing properly was adjusted not in the orginal quote .very helpful ,polite and freindly chat when appropriate as trademen don't like you in there way.Good JOB Thankyou

  Asked for a internal door supplying and fitting .why supply and fit a unfinished door that provide a door that says ready to paint or stain not hang straightaway needs treating .door supplied mid not a finished product clearly says on the packing unfinished requires painting .nit happy that a joiner would charge me to fit a door that now needs taking down and staining .when trademan knew I wanted a finished door

  An unfinished door means you either paint it or not you can’t stain that door it’s a flush ply veneer. Also i did other jobs at no extra cost like sorting another door putting curtains up. 5 stars yesterday now 3 today what a lovely woman you are

  Clearly says this door can not be left you knew full well I didn't want to use paint on the door .well you have said the door was costing £70 no it isn't the door was £38 from wicks .so you lied about how much the door was and it clearly says undibshed so the question is why supply me with a unfinished doo.r that needs treating staining no it's you who as supplied a door that is not finished and bought a £38 unfinished door saying it was a £70 door and you knew I wanted a finished door .

  So why not supply what I wanted .packing clearly says to be painted you know I wanted a stained door not a gloss painted door .yes it's wood of course you can stain them ready to paint door is not a complete door .and £38 pounds not the £70 you you have supplied a unsuitable door and pocketed the differnce .so of course I'm going to change my rating when I find out you lied about the cost of materials and you knew I did not want a ready to paint door but a stained wood finish

  Robbed of my money . .he says door cannot be altered when he knew I wanted a wood door and he supply's a door that needs painting now been quoted £380 to supply the correct door .I want my money back when the job as to be completly redone .to get the door I wanted .a finished door .

  I didn't get what I wanted and this tradman knows this he debillately got me a cheap unfinished door and overcharged me for a door that needs finishing staining I've got extra to pay out were as he should have provided me with the feminised darker wood door in the first place unbelievable that he went to wicks that as the very door fully finished darker wood at the bit more than this one but still less than the £70 ,he lied about I like honest people hate liers .also new trademan who I've hired to

  Come and stain the door finish ot when thos trademan as left a job only half done .he is going to put me a piece of wood in the bottom on the door to strength after this trademan weakened it .Taking 2 much off carelessly didn't fit a new piece of wood in the bottom and so you can put your fingers inside the door he as left ot completly hollow at the bottom in the area that needs the strength opening and closing it were the carpet is .so no excuse for this leaving a big hole all along the bottom .

  You take 2 much off as it was the closest size you accidently reveal the horror cut shave plane whatever into the hollow part you damn well don't leave it like that .and he damn well should have got this trademan should have replaced the strip of wood at the bottom to keep the strength in the main area that matters Also should have preprovided a pre finished door not a unfinished one as for the extra jobs he adjusted in 2 minutes another door that wasnt closing properly he refused to fix my curtain track

  Point blank refused to fix my curtain track unfortunately decorater s had taken down and missed on replacing it some bracket connections why refuse a extra job I offered to pay for .so these reviews are true and honest thought intiately be had done a good job until I found extra works to it needed .so saying he did one tiny 2 minute extra job free cancels out when he left me with a bigger job .A hole exposed all along the bottom of the door and needing staining .had he come back and put right there

  Had he come back and put right at least filling in the door bottom he took out .Then there might have been further work at a later date not a chance now a extra £70 labour plus £19 tin of woodstain that £89 extra this man as cost me as well as overcharging me for a cheaper quality door than he promised .thanks for nothing taking my money and not been caring and kind enough to put right .his mistake .

  Emailing me now extremely rude having conned me ..Never again would I trust anyone with cash with no receipt .I wanted bank transfer with a invoice provided breakdown of the cost of the door he already lied about p,us labour seperate Any tradesman would provide invoice with quote and mark paid. . Materials are seperate to labour charges This tradesman calls himself a joiner he is obviously refusing to even replace wood piece at the bottom of the door .leaving it hollow .

  Conned me out of money and doesnt care no aftercare ,Not only providing the wrong door also lying about its cost . Then damaging the bottom leaving it hollow Which greatly affects its performance over time . Well I'm paying someone to fix the bottom with a piece of wood As well as staining it . So he thinks it's OK not OK .con me ,rob me then refuse to put right . Threatening he woundnt do any more jobs for me .well this con man is the last person I'd hire thankyou . Digusting behaviour.

  If I could remove my first comment I would .having found the door hollow underneath can put your fingers inside the door the whole way across the bottom .Any proper joiner would apologise for taking 2 much off the bottom own up to it and replace wood piece at the bottom before hanging . And he made the mistake of leaving the plastic wrap and paper stuck on the door packing . To clearly say it's not just a lighter colour than I wanted its unfinshed ..requires further work . And not the price he quoted .

  Dare to call me crazy .well he as robbed me blind . Fix his damage replace 5he wood at the bottom before hanging . And buy the proper door in the first place .don't say it's a £70 door than pay £38 Then say can't be stained but clearly says ready to paint unfinished he says you choose to either paint it or not .clearly he doesn't know what a unfinshed door is . it's not a door intended to be left . Won't clean correctly Will not last and you can stain cause you buy waterbased woodstain

  Same as paint is waterbased unless you bought a oil based vanish I've looked into it water based woodstain .satin finish johnsons . Cause did this man think I was going to pay £380 and dispose of the door Wasting £200 No the £380 was for dark wood finished door plus labour plus vat Could get one delivered from B and Q for £109 and £150 labour still overpriced on labour But wouldn't be so bad had this joiner supplied the £70 finshed door or charged £109 from B and Q had it delivered to him .

  And invoiced correctly for material and labour We will see what rated people say when they are emailing back hopefully but have asked me to ask this joiner to put the job right . Before they blacklist him .Already filed in a form then received a reply back email Mailed back saying doubtful taking cash no invoice or receipt But here is proof woundnt be able to make these comments had I not used him .Never again . This is way you don't pay cash He wouldn't even provide a receipt For my money

  None as conned me before .plus how dare you .When that dog died last may after I'd had him 12 years and 8 months from aged 2 .He was shut in once that front room by the police when my daughter died then as he had caught it damaged a little already he did it 2 years in a row with scared of fireworks. He was always with me never shut imprisoned in the room. Doors were left open when I went out he was never left long .
