We are a building repair company who have been successfully providing services to insurance companies and local authorities since 2004. We specialise in urgent response repairs on insurance claims where flooding, subsidence and other problems occur.
This was one of those jobs that had various problems from the start. Having said that SMS did put them all right without complaint. The quote given for the clearing of the site AND the complete redesign was excellent. The original deadline was missed by a long way primarily due to misjudging the anomalies of the site (eg the underlying concrete was a lot thicker than anticipated). SMS were slow in clearing the site after the work was done - it took almost three weeks before the last of the rubble and debris were moved. Overall, I am pleased with the work done and the final result and would be prepared to use them again.

I wouldn't? recommend this firm as they promise to give you a disc containing still and moving pictures of your drains but they don't appear to know how to operate their camera. Consequently I only received a disc containing corrupted files, and when they re-took images of my drains i did not receive a file at all. And when I queried if a section of the relined drains was properly sealed they failed to return to my house. I recommend anyone not to part with any money until completely satisfied.

Octavian was very patient for the job to start as it relied on the plaster on an external wall drying. When it did start, he completed what I assumed would be a three day job in two. The following day after I had a stopcock and pipework replaced by Jamie, I discovered that he had cut into another pipe when removing the old ones, causing a leak. I dont know for sure if he knew he had done this. I think he did, but judge for yourself based on the following. Over several days, I called his mobile, I left whatssapp messages, i sent several emails. No responses from any of them. Strange as they all seemed to be working when he contacted me to get the job.

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken.
