They said they had to inspect my property first! They unscrewed Electrical Sockets, and did not replace the screws. No work was done to my property. They did not come back, to complete any work. They took £180 of me for what? I have never used Rated People after that.

I have wide range of experience and knowledge ranging from simple domestic systems to fully addresable fire alarm systems. with this knowledge comes fault finding experience. I also have a small knowledge of auto cad so I can do basic drawings if needed.

We can do anything on power and lighting in a domestic property from changing a light to upgrading a consumer unit. From adding a socket to doing a full re wire. We also do fire alarm systems and TV Aerials.
Hired them to install a new socket, and also install extractor fan. The job for the new socket works as expected and happy with this. The extractor fan, well, Jack decided to install the extractor fan without running pre-checks on the fan such as plugging it in and testing it. Now I'm left with a faulty item and had it replaced. Jack wants to charge me full price to come back when they should have conducted proper checks. I don't know if I had a faulty item or if it was damaged by them.
Job didn't last long, started leaking again when it rained heavy. wasted money. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

I was concerned about using a new company but Marc Burrows, a director, seemed extremely competent and confident, was keen to win the business and assured us he could accommodate our schedule, so we signed the contract on 9/2/2016 to have our boiler replaced and relocated on 21/03/16. Since then there has been no further contact. He has not replied to e-mails or text messages, phone calls unreturned both mobile and head office, and no-one turned up to do the job. Totally unreliable, do NOT use, ever!

Job was actually pretty ok such a shame they left my home in a state. No cleaning up after the job even though Paul stood for two days saying how much his guys respected peoples homes then on the final day stepped over it all to leave. Damage to paintwork, knocked a plug out of its socket and broke my hoover. This could have all been discussed and made right but unfortunately it wasn’t and we were left with a bad taste with it all and the owner only really wanting to discuss payment. Such a shame

after first contact by email to arrange a call back , we discussed on phone details of the job informed someone might call to look at site sounded good and promising, nothing since! no show , no calls, no emails. the description was clear and the job defined in the advert. Service level offered poor in contact terms , not what I was told and expected from such a large company . Time wasting from 1st reply.
