I cannot rate these guys highly enough. Their challenge was to strip my flat roof & replace years of bodged felt , rotten boarding & rotten joists. They were highly professional, communicative, organised & very skilled in their undertaking of my job. John and the team did an outstanding job. It was easy to work with John and he was very knowledgeable, and provided very sensible advice. Other people quoted work which was over-the-top or wouldn't have solved the problem but John got right to the issue in a no-nonsense way. AVOID ! At all cost, honestly getting flooring done is so expensive and this company came ruined my new purchase herringbone flooring by laying it completely wrong! They don’t know what they are doing and have no skill. They are messy dust everywhere my walls sofa cushions, curtains everything is a mess. I stopped them and told them not to come back after paying an initial £600 wish I never paid anything now going to open a dispute. Awful is me being nice avoid these people!

Avoid Wayne from Blackwell Roofing. He quoted £380 based on photos, then came to view the job from the ground—no proper inspection. He later climbed a ladder with no safety gear, started tearing down fascia, then suddenly claimed the job was £1,600. When I asked him to stop, he became aggressive, shouting and throwing tools and wood down dangerously. I felt threatened and unsafe in my own home. Totally unprofessional, dishonest, and intimidating. Do not hire him.
