As I'm limited to 512 characters for this review, I'm unable to list the reasons why a one star rating is too generous for D & L contractors. In short, the work carried out by them was so poor and unprofessional, I asked them to leave the job and resolved the issues via small claims action. I have since found that they left my property unsafe by allowing steel beams to be supported without padstones below and these were also braced underneath using broken angle grinder blades instead of slate!

He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. We hired Gowan PM to decorate our first project of 7 apartments. They are so much more than your average tradesmen; multi skilled, (great tiling and bathroom installation) tidy (put our team to shame), when we changed a main colour they were fab and just took it in their stride. We forget to order materials so they collected it for us. The quality of the work is second to none and has been admired by all. I have no doubt that it will be their work will sell our project. A huge thank you, now our 1st choice.

James did an incredible job in a very short time frame.
