Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.

Ross has done a fantastic job of rewiring our home, and adding additional sockets, extractors, and smoke alarms. He's a very friendly, reliable, hardworking and polite tradesman and I have already recommended him to others. Rewiring is normally one of the most hated refurb jobs for homeowners, but Ross was so organised, clean and tidy it really was a stress-free experience. The finished result is great. Very impressed with this person, he did a far superior job than what i was expecting and for a very good price. I wanted a decorator just to make the place look a bit more presentable, nothing overly fancy as the plaster is 90 years old and really needs replacing. This man went the extra mile and the house looks superb for it, you can shine a torch down the walls or along he ceilings and not see any imperfections, and they were shockingly bad before. Very happy, thanks.
