I was apprehensive appointing someone through a website, but so glad I did Carl was great, from a very informative initial meeting and then estimate all the way through to completion of 1 ensuite, 1 small family bathroom and 1 small downstairs toilet. He was full of useful ideas which helped the project go smoothly. Due to the nature of this project, flexibility was key and he excelled in this regards. Sam built the brick and block walls and roof for our 40m2 first floor extension. The first thing he did was point out that a previous builder we had in had used the wrong bricks, then he found us the right ones. A good start. Always quiet, considerate, unflustered and a good choice of music. Very good at cleaning up afterwards. Brickwork is excellent: the window fitters commented on the accuracy of the openings. The price was good and was as quoted, so no nasty surprises. Highly recommended.

Elliott responded quickly to my request, indicating that he could view the job promptly. However the damage incurred by the snow turned out to be less extensive than first thought and I did not need to proceed with this. Since the website requires a star rating I have given him good ratings bsed on the email exchange with him alone, no work having ben done.

I recently hired Viorel to replace a ceiling beam in my rental kitchen, and I was thoroughly impressed with his work and professionalism. Viorel demonstrated excellent craftsmanship when tackling what turned out to be a more complex job than initially expected. During the ceiling beam replacement, he uncovered several additional issues that needed attention. Rather than simply ignoring these problems or hitting me with surprise costs, he took the time to explain each issue clearly and kept me updated.

Outstanding, quality paintwork and woodstaining on a large hall, stairs and landing area. Very courteous, clean and tidy. I would certainly use this tradesman again, in fact we are to decorate a recent extension.

Barry did an excellent job in painting and decorating our lounge, hall, stairs and landing. His workmanship is faultless and of the very highest standard. Barry is very pleasant, professional, organised and a tidy worker. The quote was within our specified budget - very good value! Tony(TJC) is friendly, reliable and works to a high standard. He always kept me updated which showed his professionalism, whereas with some tradesmen you always have to chase them up. He's a tradesman that cares about his work and I would definitely use TJC again.
